• With over 25 years experience in integrative body-based therapies, I support people to connect with themselves through movement, somatic awareness, nervous system regulation, creativity and compassionate therapeutic support.

  • My work weaves together DMT (Dance Movement Therapy), Authentic Movement, TRE (Tension & Trauma Release Exercises) mindfulness, breath-work, embodied awareness and relational connection to help people feel more grounded, present and connected to their bodies. I help settle the nervous system. No movement or dance experience is needed - only curiosity and a willingness to listen to your body.

  • I work with adults, teens, couples and groups navigating:

    • trauma recovery

What is The Moving Circle?

It’s an experiential somatic space that uses movement, breath and awareness to support nervous system regulation, connection and embodied presence.

A space to move, feel and reconnect through the body - together.

Its a group embodiment practice exploring movement, presence and nervous system awareness.

It is not about performance.

It is not about doing it “right”

It is about listening - through sensation, rhythm and movement - to what is already happening in the body.

Each session is guided, structured and held within a safe relational field.

People often come here feeling:

  • disconnected from themselves

  • overwhelmed and emotionally depleted

  • stuck in patterns of stress or shutdown

  • or simply longing to feel more present again

This work offers a way through the body, rather than through explanation alone. The body signals, carrying stress, tension and emotional load and this is a space to process and release it.

How it Works

Movement - Breath - Awareness

Each session is designed as a guided somatic experience.

Each circle may include:

  • guided movement exploration

  • simple movement explorations

  • breath awareness and regulation

  • orientation in space

  • sensory attention (felt experience)

  • moments of stillness and integration

  • There is no expectation of how to move. Only an invitation to listen inward.

You are supported to notice

  • what shifts when you slow down

  • what becomes available when you move differently

  • how your system responds to safety, rhythm and space

    Over time this builds internal capacity for regulation, presence and connection.

As I reminisce about my early days as a young 19-year-old running across the shores of Bondi Beach, for many years and still to this day I find solace and strength in the rhythmic beating movement of the waves that became my inspiration. The ocean, a steadfast companion, witnessed my growth and provided me with a sense of grounding as a newbie to Sydney from New Zealand.

Driven by a desire to support others, I created Advance with Health over 25 years ago and The Moving Circle community initiative in 2017.

The Moving Circle is a chance to reconnect with your body, calm your mind, and embrace a more fulfilling life through carefully curated workshops. Guiding individuals to liberate their minds and delve into the depths of their bodies. Much like the ocean's waves, authentic connection demands full immersion and sensory engagement particularly in today's technology-driven world. It is through this process that I have witnessed the incredible potency of movement as a catalyst for self-discovery, growth and healing.

I have found myself returning full circle to Bondi, ready to share the insights and knowledge I have accumulated on my path and to open the space for shared story through movement. My heartfelt mission is to offer tools, resources, and support both in person and online to our community.
